Do you have a sporting background?

I competed in showjumping throughout my youth.

When, how and why did you start training CrossFit?

I started in a fairly classic way three years ago. I got convinced to try a "WOD" by a guy at the gym. Went out extremly hard on the first of five laps then I got to crawl to the finish a bit more humlbe. Even tho I was exhausted I couldn’t stop thinking about the next class! After that I was hooked! Then, after another year and a half sI decided to put my main effort in CrossFit and to do it more seriously.

What are your goals in CrossFit?

Primary reaching Regionals. This year we are aiming to go there as a team: Team Onyx.

What do you do when you are not training and competing?

Business Consultant.

What does a typical training week look like?

A normal week we'll have two sessions a day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and active rest on Wednesdays. On saturdays it varies between a double session or two seperate sessions. Sundays are holy for recovery and mobility.

What is your main CrossFit success?

4th French Throwdown 2015 (team) 
2nd The Rock Throwdown, Malta 2016 (individual) 
1st Best On the West 2016 (team)

Do you have any role model in the sport?

Ooh many, but right now, as a pure CrossFit Athlete, perhaps Sara Sigmundsdottir.

What's your biggest vice?

Ice cream! But I at the same time ice cream is pretty awsome... So it might be my surplus energy.

What is your favorite WOD?

Karen! It’s a pure love-hate thing.

What do you like best CLN Athletics products?

The quality and the fit! The clothes feels just as good as they look and they never interferes with my training.
