Meet John Singleton, founder of The Progrm!
Check out The Progrm, offering crossfit training for two different levels of ambition. Several athletes, such as Sara Sigmundsdottir are satisfied users and the founder John Singleton is currently coaching several raising stars. We took a chat with John to learn more.
Who are you?
My name is John Singleton and I am both a coach and an osteopath. I have worked with CrossFit athletes for over 10 years now, and I have been fortunate enough to support and coach some of the best athletes in the world.
Describe The Progrm.
In an essence, The Progrm is a training program designed for CrossFit athletes. The idea behind The Progrm has always been to support athletes in becoming the best athletes they possibly can.
The Progrm has been used by and developed multiple CrossFit Games competitors, including Sara Sigmundsdottir.
Choose of 2 forms of programming: The Elite, which is for athletes who are looking to compete at Regional level and beyond. And The Daily, which is perfect for athletes who work, have families and other commitments but still want to progress in the sport in a fun way.
What is your focus in the Open?
My focus is to support the athletes I work with in doing the best job they can. I will be working closely with some of the top athletes, to try and optimise their performances.
Your goals in 2017?
I have some specific goals regarding my athletes and where they can place. However, I am focused on building a strong foundation for The Progrm so even more athletes can receive the support that has helped many elite level athletes get where they are today.
Can you share a typical Open prep WOD from The Progrm?
